Workshops, lectures, and advice
The Black Archives offers a wealth of information on Black literature, culture, and history. We provide workshops, lectures, consultancy, and advice on various themes related to Black and multicultural issues.
Contact us for more information on specific topics or themes, such as slavery, colonialism, Black feminism, the Civil Rights Movement, colonial imagery, social issues regarding equal opportunities in education, the labor market, and workplace diversity. Our services are available for all age groups, from young to adult.

Rent our space
The Black Archives is temporarly based on Bijlmerplein 140, Amsterdam. This is in the 'Amsterdamse Poort' shopping center across the HEMA. Our space is located on the ground floor and is available to rent for your event or meeting. We offer, at least:

- Space for maximum 75 persons and chairs for around 35 persons
- A projector with screen and sound
- A sound system with microphones (excluding a sound technician)
- A tv screen on wheels, with HDMI cable
- A big whiteboard on wheels
- A table for conferences with office chairs for 8 persons, plus tv screen with HDMI cable
- A kitchenette with kettle, coffee maker and thermos flasks
