4 Maart 2022: 'Finissage expositie Zwart Manifest: Op Weg Naar Zwarte Emancipatie'
Sprekers: Bart Krieger, publicist, curator, oprichter Kunst Toko BAM!, Marian Duff, oprichter/directeur OSCAM, Aspha Bijnaar, directeur 'Musea bekennen kleur', Mitchell Esajas, co-founder van The Black Archives
Panel #2: Words & thoughts about the Manifesto (English)
It has been almost a year since the launch of the Black Manifesto, and several months since the Black Manifesto exhibition opened in OSCAM. In their essays several writers have reflected on the multiplicity of experiences of Black people in the Netherlands and the greater ‘Dutch Kingdom’. In this panel, writers Jillian Emanuels, Phaedra Haringsma and Chimira Obiefule will engage in a conversation about their work. In their essays they have touch upon issues such as raising Black children in an anti-racist way, inequality within the Dutch kingdom and the experiences of Black women in Amsterdam. Join the convo!
Schrijvers Akú Anan, Bart Krieger, Jillian Emanuels, Mungayende Helene Christelle, Phaedra Haringsma, Princess Attia & Sherilyn Deen schreven vanuit verschillende perspectieven over Zwarte gemeenschappen in Nederland.

March 4th 2022: Finissage Black Manifesto expo

The Black Manifesto exhibition can be visited until March 5, 2022. In this exhibition artists and writers have creatively given expression to the movement and the manifesto. On Friday, March 4, the Black Manifesto will organize a 'finissage' for the exhibition during which we will talk to various artists, writers and other change makers.
Where? Friday 4 March
Where? OSCAM
Time? 6 PM (start: 7 PM ) - 9 PM (Drinks & Music untill 10 PM )
