On Saturday June 8th we will have the honor to welcome prof. Kimberlé Crenshaw at The Black Archives. Prof. Crenshaw is known for her ground breaking work on the concept of 'intersectionality'. We will have a conversation with local activists, thinkers and active community members about the concept in relation to social justice, how it translates to the realities of marginalized people in the Dutch context and how it can be put into practice.
After an introduction by prof. Crenshaw we will have a conversation with Inez Blanca (PhD Student and Diversity Commission University of Amsterdam) and Simone Zeefuik (#DecolonizingTheMuseum, Bijlmer Parktheater) and the audience.
